1. GST in Australia
Where applicable, prices for products and services supplied by Aussie Container may include Goods and Services Tax (GST) in accordance with Australian tax requirements.
The GST treatment of a transaction may depend on factors including:
- The product or service being supplied;
- The customer’s circumstances;
- The delivery location;
- Whether the transaction is taxable;
- Any applicable GST exemptions or special rules.
Where GST applies, the relevant amount will be reflected in the quotation, invoice or other applicable transaction documentation.
2. Pricing and GST
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Aussie Container will indicate whether quoted prices are:
- Inclusive of GST; or
- Exclusive of GST.
Customers should review their quotation or invoice carefully before making payment.
Where GST is applicable and the displayed price is GST-inclusive, the GST component will generally be included within the advertised price.
3. How GST Is Calculated
Where applicable, GST may be calculated on the taxable supply provided by Aussie Container.
Depending on the transaction, this may include:
- Shipping containers;
- Container-related products;
- Modifications;
- Additional services;
- Delivery or freight charges where GST applies.
The applicable treatment will depend on the nature of the supply and relevant Australian tax requirements.
4. Delivery and Freight Charges
Delivery and freight charges may form part of the taxable supply.
Where GST applies to delivery or related charges, the applicable GST treatment will be reflected in the quotation or invoice.
Delivery costs can vary depending on factors such as:
- Delivery location;
- Distance;
- Container size;
- Transport requirements;
- Site access;
- Special delivery requirements.

Where required, Aussie Container may provide a tax invoice containing relevant information such as:

If you are purchasing a container for your business and are registered for GST, you should retain the relevant tax invoice for your accounting and tax records.
Whether a customer is entitled to claim an input tax credit is a matter for the customer and their tax adviser.
Aussie Container does not provide individual taxation advice.
7. Tax Exemptions and Special Tax Treatment
Certain transactions may qualify for specific tax treatment under Australian law.
If you believe your purchase qualifies for an exemption, concession or other special treatment, please contact Aussie Container before completing the transaction.
Where supporting documentation is required, customers may need to provide appropriate information before the relevant tax treatment can be applied.
Aussie Container may not be able to retrospectively alter a completed transaction where the required documentation was not supplied at the appropriate time.

Australian tax laws and regulations can change from time to time.
Aussie Container may update its pricing, invoicing and tax-collection procedures where necessary to comply with changes to applicable requirements.
If a tax rate, obligation or applicable government charge changes after a quotation has been issued but before an order is completed, the final amount payable may be adjusted where permitted by the applicable terms and law.
