Payment Policy

Effective Date: 1 October 2026

At Aussie Container, we aim to make purchasing a shipping container secure, transparent and straightforward. This Payment Policy explains our accepted payment methods, payment verification procedures, deposits, invoicing, refunds and other payment-related conditions.

By placing an order or making a payment to Aussie Container, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Depending on the order, product, value and applicable transaction requirements, Aussie Container may accept:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • Approved Credit or Debit Card Payments
  • Other payment methods specifically approved by Aussie Container

Available payment methods may vary depending on the type and value of your order.

Important: Customers should only use payment details provided directly by Aussie Container. If you receive a request to change bank account details, please contact us using our official contact information before making payment.

2. Payment Processing

An order will generally proceed once the required payment has been received and verified.

Before arranging delivery, we may need to confirm:

  • Payment has been successfully received.
  • Billing information is accurate.
  • Delivery details have been provided.
  • The requested container is available.
  • Any applicable delivery or freight requirements have been confirmed.

For higher-value transactions, additional payment or customer verification may be required.

Submitting an enquiry or quote request does not automatically reserve a container or guarantee availability.

3. Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed when the applicable payment or approved deposit has been received and the relevant order details have been confirmed by Aussie Container.

Depending on the transaction, confirmation may require:

  • Full payment; or
  • An agreed deposit or partial payment;
  • Confirmation of the container specification;
  • Confirmation of the delivery location;
  • Confirmation of delivery requirements.

A container will not necessarily be reserved until the required payment has cleared.

4. Prices and Currency

Unless otherwise stated, Aussie Container prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

The final amount payable may include, where applicable:

  • Container purchase price
  • Delivery or freight charges
  • Site-access or delivery-related charges
  • Optional modifications or services
  • Applicable taxes or government charges

Any applicable additional charges should be communicated as part of the quotation or invoice before payment is required.

5. Deposits and Partial Payments

For certain orders, customised containers, large commercial purchases or specially arranged deliveries, Aussie Container may require:

  • A deposit;
  • Partial payment;
  • Full payment before delivery;
  • Staged payments agreed between the customer and Aussie Container.

Where a deposit or staged payment arrangement applies, the applicable payment terms will be communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.

A deposit does not automatically guarantee delivery unless the order has been formally confirmed by Aussie Container.

6. Bank Transfer and EFT Payments

Customers making payment by bank transfer or EFT are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The correct bank account details are used.
  • The correct payment reference is included.
  • The correct amount is transferred.
  • Any applicable bank charges are understood.

Orders will generally proceed once the funds have been received and verified.

Bank processing times may vary depending on the financial institution.

For security, always verify our banking details with Aussie Container before making a payment if the details differ from those previously provided to you.

7. Credit and Debit Card Payments

Where card payments are available, transactions may be processed through an approved payment provider.

Additional verification may be required for certain transactions to help protect customers and Aussie Container against unauthorised or fraudulent payments.

We do not intend to retain full payment card details on our own systems where payment processing is handled by an external payment provider.

8. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

To protect customers and prevent unauthorised transactions, Aussie Container may request additional information where reasonably necessary, including:

  • Customer identification;
  • Business information;
  • Billing information;
  • Delivery information;
  • Confirmation of payment authorisation.

A transaction may be delayed, placed on hold or cancelled if there are reasonable concerns regarding payment authorisation, inconsistent information or suspected fraudulent activity.

9. Failed, Declined or Reversed Payments

If a payment is declined, reversed, cancelled, returned or otherwise unsuccessful:

  • Order processing may be paused.
  • Delivery arrangements may be delayed.
  • Container availability may no longer be guaranteed.
  • Additional verification may be requested.
  • The order may be cancelled if the payment issue is not resolved.

Any applicable bank, payment-provider or administrative charges will be handled in accordance with the applicable transaction terms and law.

10. Invoices and Payment Documentation

Where applicable, customers will receive an invoice, quotation or other payment documentation showing relevant information such as:

  • Container description;
  • Quantity;
  • Product price;
  • Delivery or freight charges;
  • Applicable taxes or charges;
  • Amount paid;
  • Outstanding balance;
  • Payment status.

Customers should carefully review all invoices and payment details before making payment.

If you identify an error, please contact Aussie Container before completing payment.

11. Refunds

Approved refunds will be handled in accordance with the Aussie Container Refund & Returns Policy and the applicable terms of the transaction.

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds may generally be made using the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution or payment provider.
  • Certain delivery, freight, modification or other costs may be non-refundable where this was disclosed or agreed before purchase.

Customers should review our Refund & Returns Policy for the specific conditions applicable to their purchase.

12. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe there is an error with a payment, invoice or transaction, we encourage you to contact Aussie Container first so that the matter can be investigated.

Please provide:

  • Your name;
  • Order or invoice number;
  • Payment date;
  • Amount paid;
  • Description of the issue.

Where a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, Aussie Container may review the transaction and provide relevant documentation to the payment provider or financial institution.

Order fulfilment or related services may be paused while a payment dispute is being investigated, where permitted by law.

Container delivery may involve additional costs depending on factors such as:

  • Delivery location;
  • Distance;
  • Site access;
  • Delivery equipment requirements;
  • Road or access restrictions;
  • Special handling requirements.

Any known delivery charges should be communicated as part of the quotation or order confirmation.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and informing Aussie Container of any known access restrictions that may affect delivery.

14. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate billing and contact information.
  • Providing accurate delivery information.
  • Reviewing quotations and invoices before payment.
  • Using an authorised payment method.
  • Ensuring sufficient funds are available.
  • Keeping payment confirmations and receipts.
  • Responding promptly to reasonable payment-verification requests.

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays to order processing or delivery.

15. Payment Security

Aussie Container takes reasonable steps to protect payment-related information and reduce the risk of unauthorised transactions.

Customers should also take appropriate precautions, including:

  • Avoiding sending payment information through unsecured channels.
  • Verifying bank details before making a transfer.
  • Contacting Aussie Container if suspicious payment instructions are received.
  • Keeping payment receipts and transaction confirmations.

Aussie Container will not be responsible for payments sent to unauthorised accounts as a result of customers failing to verify changed payment instructions.

The latest version will be published on this website with the applicable effective date.
